“Someone has to be King…” Famous words from a famous man (at least in this neck of the woods). And a right good King he was, both in business and in life.
Gone but never forgotten, Dick’s spirit lives on, his values and ideals held dear and observed daily by the Fox Cities Crane & Fab., Inc. family. Integrity… Dedication… Excellence… these are the principles that guided Dick, and continue to guide those who carry his legacy into the future.
To those who knew him, he was an enigma; his sometimes stern demeanor belied a riotous sense of humor. His ever-demanding nature was well complimented by his patient spirit.
To those who loved him, he was a leader, mentor, and a friend.
And to us, he was all of those things and more… including our Dad.
We’re grateful for all he did, gave and taught. We’re proud to advance his vision.
We’re proud to be his “kids”… Still doing it his way, just as he’d expect.
For nearly 14 years, Frank served Fox Cities Crane with diligence and distinction, juggling a multitude of roles across several departments. Clearly the hardest working member of our team (see photo), he was Vice President in Charge of Morale, a key member of the corporate Welcoming Committee, and Chief Executive Officer of Foot Confinement, with an area of practice focused primarily on the floor under Scott’s desk. Perhaps his most favored position was that of official Company Food Taster; through his efforts, he provided much-needed peace of mind to his colleagues during all those risky wholesaler lunches and employee potlucks.
As all good things do, Frank’s tenure came to an end in the spring of 2025. He is now employed as King Richard’s Canine Court Jester and Partner in Crime, where he assists His Royal Highness in the consumption of as many Sausage McMuffins as their mutual hearts’ desire… far, far away from Scott’s disapproving but well-intentioned gaze.
Frank’s former role is currently occupied by his minimal part time, very cute but far lazier and much less personable cousin Lino. When he deigns to report for duty, Lino sleeps, menaces the masses, barks inappropriately and creates general chaos to no productive effect. These days… Good help is most certainly hard to find.
